Belize is bordered on the north by Mexico, to the south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean Sea.

The Great Blue Hole is a large submarine sinkhole off the Coast of #Belize. The site was made famous by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who declared it one of the top ten #scuba diving sites in the world.

If you choose to explore the City of Belize you will see the waterways and an interesting city. The climate and the Belize Barrier Reef provide excellent fishing, safe waters for boating, scuba diving and snorkeling.

Belize, Central America is the only country in the area that has English as the official language, though an English creole and Spanish are more commonly spoken.

There are numerous rivers for rafting and kayaking, various jungle and wildlife reserves of fauna and flora, for hiking, bird watching as well as many Maya ruins to explore.
