The capital of Catalonia, and one of its provinces, Barcelona is a place of palpable history, where you can lose yourself strolling down the medieval streets of the Barri Gotic. It's a city designed to excite the senses; visit other-worldly Modernista churches like Gaudi's La Pedrera, or treat yourself at a street side cafe to Patatas Bravas or a Passion Fruit Mojito.

One of the most interesting locations to visit in Barcelona is the most famous building in the entire city and its landmark, La Sagrada Familia. The church is absolutely breathtaking. La Sagrada Familia is an absolute must see for every visitor in Spain and the Barcelona. It is truly a masterpiece and is sure to please visitors of all ages. Please be aware that there are certain restrictions on dress while visiting this church.

Every visitor should stroll down the La Rambla in Barcelona. You can find wonderful outdoor markets, restaurants, shops and more along this interesting street. This gorgeous tree-lined pedestrian walkway, is the busiest and most lively street of the city.

The Magic Fountains of Montjuic are a treat to see in Barcelona! The light and music performances from October to April take place on Fridays and Saturdays every half-hour between 7:00 and 8:30pm and from May to September, Thursday through Sunday every half-hour between 9:00 and 11:00pm.

Barcelona offers Gaudi Architecture at its best. The Guell Park is on a hill overlooking Barcelona. This neighborhood offers a panoramic view of the city. The sculpture portion is full of walkways and other structures exhibiting the distinct and colorful style of Gaudi, including the famous terrace.
