Mykonos, Greece- Fishing Village

Mykonos, Greece
Greek fishing village with a maze of tiny streets and whitewashed steps, lanes, houses and churches.

Mykonos is a popular tourist destination in the Greek islands. This stunningly picturesque town has a maze of tiny streets, whitewashed steps, lanes, houses and churches gathered around its harbor in the middle of a wide bay.

This is a lovely town to take a walk in and enjoy the colors, shops, and sea side restaurants. I enjoyed the colorful colors of the churches in the town.

The islands mascot, Petros the Pelican, can sometimes be found at the waterfront or even up in town.   I took this photo of him coming into this sea side restaurant.

There is lot's of shopping or just window shopping in Mykonos. You will find exclusive name brand items, Greek Jewelers, souvenirs as well as works of art.

This is an interesting dress shop I ran across. Mykonos is truly a beautiful place to visit.
