#UltimateGetaway - Day 5 Visiting St. Thomas, VI and dinner onboard at the Le Bistro.

#UltimateGetaway-My day in St. Thomas- I took The Best of St. Thomas Shore excursion. This shore excursion is an easy one offering fantastic views, shopping, and a stop for a Banana Daiquiri (if you so choose). So board your open-air safari bus and travel along Skyline Drive as you take in the views of the neighboring islands. At Beacon Point there are breathtaking island views from the observation platform. Stop at Skyline overlook to see the historic harbor of Charlotte Amalie 800 feet above your cruise ship. From Drake’s Seat enjoy views of heart-shaped, palm-fringed Megan’s Bay - one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Continue on to St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens, once the haunt of the rich and famous.

This is a magnificent Caribbean estate, featuring stunning views, classic Caribbean architecture and vintage furnishings in a beautiful, tropical setting. Enjoy a refreshing complimentary rum or fruit punch and stroll the lush grounds, perched 1,000 feet above the ocean that is home to more than 100 varieties of tropical fauna. This is a ‘must see’ in the Caribbean. Choose a complimentary souvenir gift as a remembrance of your excursion. Travel to Mountain Top for the most stunning and panoramic vistas in the Virgin Islands. Bring a camera and photograph the best of St. Thomas.#CruiseLikeaNorwegian

#UltimateGetaway- Day 5 - After a fun day in the Port of St. Thomas we had a lovely dinner at the Le Bistro. French cuisine at its finest. At the Le Bistro, the signature French restaurant, you can enjoy your magnificent meal inside surrounded by classic decor. Or at the new seating option – Atrium Al Fresco – and feel like you’re at a sidewalk cafĂ© in France. Whether you’re watching the constant flow of people mingling about 678 Ocean Place or mesmerized by the dazzling 3-story cascading LED chandelier, this is a unique dining experience to savor.

Here is also a look at the Menu at the Le Bistro.

Oh and that Chandelier does change color! What color do you like best?
